Pussy Willows are cut from early March to mid April. They are sold wholesale to flower shops for the spring and Easter markets, in addition to churches for Palm Sunday celebrations. European pussy willow stems from our plantation are available in many different sizes:

Environmental Willows Willows, polars, and other native plant varieties have become a key component for environmental tree planting and supporting our ecosystem. Native willow cuttings are available for shoreline planting for both erosion suppression, as well as nutrient uptake. Both shoreline erosion and algae growth are important issues concerning Manitoba's lakes and rivers. Phytoremediation is a natural way to clean up polluted sites, using willows and poplars. Willows can also be planted to absorb nutrients and pollutants from bulk fuel sites, garbage dumps, and lagoons. Fast growing willow cuttings, and trees available, as well as planting service. Shelter willows are fast growing and multi-branched, slowing the wind and trapping snow. Agroforestry willow varieties are grown on-site at Evergreen Valley Nursery, with cuttings available in season. Unrooted willow cuttings are available in native and non-native willow varieties.
